ARWEN-VIRA MARSH is an actor, singer, and artist based in New York City. Born into a family of creators and raised across the world, she lived in twelve places on three continents before the age of fifteen, an upbringing that informs her belief that story is home.

She has performed across genres, spanning experimental new work, theatre for young audiences, musical theatre, contemporary drama, and classical Greek tragedy. Favorite roles include Antigone in Antigone (Wirtz Center), Gypsy Rose Lee in February House (Wirtz Center), and Muffy in Arthur & Friends Make a Musical (Marriott Theatre).

Arwen-Vira is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned her BA in Theatre with a minor in Black Studies, a Music Theatre Certificate, and a concentration in Playwriting. She continued her training at the British American Drama Academy in London, and she is a proud alumna of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts (Drama).

She was a National Finalist in the August Wilson Monologue Competition (2020) and placed 4th nationally in 2021. Additional training includes The Barrow Group (on-camera) and The Bob Krakower Group (scene study).

Arwen-Vira is Black, multi-ethnic, and queer and is interested in collaborating on projects that involve and center her own identities, BIPOC folx, and people of marginalized genders & sexualities. Arwen-Vira is invested in making the theatre cannon more representational, brave, and intentional.

She is represented theatrically by About Artists Agency and is currently seeking commercial representation.
